Meet Your Teacher

Hi, I’m Kimberly Anne and I’m originally from California. After working two full time jobs for forty years, I realized that I was spinning my wheels and going nowhere.

My lifelong dream was to live in Europe, so in 2022 I made it happen – all on my own.

In California, my overhead was $10,000 a month, including running a brick-and-mortar business. Even without the business, just sitting at home cost $5,000 a month. I couldn’t afford to go out, or have any hobbies, other than hiking.

My life grew very small and I had to get off the hamster-wheel and make a change.

So I quit my job and spent a year traveling the US solo, in a van before continuing my digital nomad adventure in Europe.

I now live in Portugal for a fraction of the cost and have learned there are dozens of other places in the world where you can do the same.

I know how scary it is to get rid of your belongings and move to a new country where you don’t know anyone and don’t speak the language. But it’s also rewarding in ways I can’t describe and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Instead of living to work, I now work to live. I’ve found life balance and an embracing community of friends. I get to explore and travel Europe.

I want to help others achieve their dreams too! I learned through trial and error how to live abroad on a budget. My goal is to make it easier for you through my class, Expat on a Budget.

I’m offering an early bird 50% off special until the class launches in December. Grab it while you can! I’ll teach you everything I learned the hard way, so you don’t have to. Let’s make your dreams come true!

FAQs

Who is this course for?

This course is for anyone looking to move out of their home country (whether that be the US, Australia, the UK, or anywhere else in the world) and live elsewhere on a budget!

What is this class’ definition of living “on a budget”?

This class will show you where in the world you can live for less. The two specific focuses are places you can live for $1,000 per month which includes your rent, food and bills as well as places you can live for $2,000 a month.

What if I have more than $2,000 a month to live on? Is this class still for me?

Yes! You may still choose to live in a reasonably priced area and save or travel frequently. Or if you choose somewhere more expensive this class will absolutely help you achieve that goal.

What is Kimberly’s “criteria” for the destinations she talks about?

Cost and safety! There are no places listed that score below a 50% overall safety rating.

What about LGBTQ+ and BIPOC?

Kimberly offers insights into safety and acceptance for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC travelers, based on her personal experience as part of the LGBTQ+ community, the experiences of other friends and travelers, and some data. However, she notes that nothing is guaranteed, as everyone’s encounters differ. Without speaking directly to locals in each destination, it’s challenging to get a complete picture.

Is the course just video-based or are there handouts and activities too?

The class contains both video lectures and plenty of handouts to help you move toward your goal.

Will I have a chance to ask Kimberly Anne questions directly?

Kimberly offers three tiers for the class, which are listed above. In tiers two and three you will have a chance to speak to Kimberly directly. She also offers one-on-one coaching sessions both a la carte and for an affordable monthly subscription bases. Please check this page for all her consulting options

Will I have lifetime access?

You will have lifetime access!

What if new modules are added?

You will have access to all the new modules and any added downloadables for no extra fees!

Will this ever cost more than it does now? IE: is there a hidden subscription?

NEVER!

Is there an expiration date? Do I only have 1 year access or have to watch the videos in 6 months, etc?

Nope, you can watch them whenever you want and rewatch them. Your access time and content will never be limited!

What if I don’t find the course very helpful? Can I get my money back?

I’m confident this course will give you the foundations you need to move abroad on a budget. But if this isn’t the case, just drop me an email within 30 days of purchase and I’ll return your full payment – no questions asked.
